The boilerplate (copy freely)

My French Husband (@myfrenchhusband) is a comedy-documentary account by Elizabeth and Sacha — an American wife documenting her French husband's encounters with American life from suburban New England, in the style of a nature film. Launched in July 2026, the account reached fifty-five million views in its first ten weeks on the strength of field reports from American grocery stores, and publishes essays on French-American food and family life at myfrenchhusband.com.

The numbers (as of August 2026)

Instagram, since launch · 20 July to 28 September 2026: 55.6M views · 15.6M unique viewers · 1.64M interactions · 185K shares · 65K saves · 81 reels · 97% of views from non-followers · 61.1K followers and climbing. Audience 89% women, 85% aged 25–54, 55% United States and 11% France. Current figures on request — they age quickly, in a good way.

How it is made

Filmed on a phone, edited in Instagram’s Edits app, published by two people with no team and no agency. The full stack — including the website — is documented at how we built this.

Names & usage

Elizabeth (American, holds the camera, adores exactly this) and Sacha (French, from Paris, does not know he's the show). The account is @myfrenchhusband; the site is myfrenchhusband.com — we'd be grateful if coverage links the site. The three children appear in coverage as Owen, Harry, and Wells, first names only; we don't show their faces and ask that coverage follows the same rule.

Images

The profile portrait and logo on this site may be used for coverage with credit. For additional stills from episodes, email us — fast turnaround, no publicist in the middle. Colour values, logo marks, the icon set and our usage rules are in the brand book, which is also downloadable as a PDF.

Interviews

Elizabeth is available in English; Sacha is available in English and French, and will answer questions about American coffee creamer with complete seriousness. That is, after all, the show.
